The United States leads the rest of the world in LTE subscriptions, reports Mashable.

There are more than twice as many American LTE subscribers (47 million) than subscribers in either South Korea (20 million) or Japan (14 million). However, South Korea (50 million) and Japan (128 million) are much smaller than the U.S. (314 million)
