Verizon Will Delay Change From IPV4 to Persistent Prefix IPV6

Today Verizon customers received an e-mail updating their previous announcement that Static IPV4 addresses were going away. Their original e-mail and the relatively short term announcement caused panic for both end users as well as manufacturers of cellular equipment. The good news is these changes have been pushed back to mid 2018, giving the industry time to adjust and prepare for a major transition.
