
Today Verizon Wireless announced 5 new 4G LTE markets across the country. This brings their market total to 491 cities that covers slightly over 90% of the U.S. population with that latest wireless technology. Customers in a 4G LTE market can expect to see around 5-12Mbps download and 2-5Mbps upload, with many customers seeing speeds substantially higher than the average. Verizon hopes to have their entire 3G network footprint covered with 4G LTE coverage by the end of 2013. Below is a list of the latest 4G LTE markets to go live:
